Lille were held to a 1-1 draw by Nice in their Ligue 1 match on Saturday at the Allianz Riviera. The visitors took an early lead through Jonathan David in the 21st minute, but Andy Delort equalized for Nice just before half-time. Nice started the second half brightly, and they came close to taking the lead in the 55th minute when Gaetan Laborde hit the post. Lille gradually regained control of the game, but they struggled to create clear-cut chances.
Both teams had chances to win the game in the closing stages, but neither could find a winning goal. Lille will be disappointed with the draw, as it means they missed the chance to go second in Ligue 1. Nice, on the other hand, will be pleased with the point, as it means they remain unbeaten in their last five games.
