Police operation at the level crossing

On Wednesday at 12:30 p.m., the police carried out an operation at the level crossing at Warendorf-Einen. The operation was aimed at creating greater awareness among road users of the dangers at level crossings.

During the operation, the police stopped several vehicles that had crossed the tracks despite the closed barriers. The drivers were given a warning and instructed about the correct behavior at level crossings.

The police also distributed flyers to road users with important information about the dangers at level crossings. In addition, the police also checked whether the vehicles stopped at the level crossing were in order.

The police operation was carried out in cooperation with the Deutsche Bahn and the Straßenverkehrsamt Warendorf.

The police would like to take this opportunity to once again point out to all road users the importance of paying attention to the traffic lights at level crossings and crossing the tracks only when the barriers are open.
