VfB Stuttgart and Eintracht Frankfurt deliver Bundesliga thriller

VfB Stuttgart and Eintracht Frankfurt played out a pulsating 3-3 draw in the Bundesliga on Saturday.

Frankfurt hit back through Andre Silva

Eintracht Frankfurt hit back just four minutes later through Andre Silva. The Portuguese forward latched onto a long ball over the top and fired past Gregor Kobel in the Stuttgart goal.

Stuttgart restored their lead in the 35th minute when Wataru Endo headed home from a corner.

Silva completes his hat-trick

Silva leveled the game for the second time in the 55th minute, this time with a superb free-kick.

The Portuguese forward completed his hat-trick in the 65th minute, giving Frankfurt the lead for the first time in the game.

Stuttgart fight back again

Stuttgart refused to be beaten, and they equalized for the third time in the 75th minute when Borna Sosa curled home a fine effort.

Both teams pushed for a winner in the closing stages, but neither side could find the breakthrough.

The draw leaves Stuttgart in 10th position in the Bundesliga table, while Frankfurt are up to seventh.
