Tottenham Hotspur crush Ipswich Town 4-0 to advance in FA Cup
Second-half strikes from Son Heung-min, Richarlison, and Lucas Moura send Spurs through
Tottenham Hotspur produced a dominant second-half performance to thrash Ipswich Town 4-0 and book their place in the fifth round of the FA Cup on Saturday.
After a goalless first half, Son Heung-min broke the deadlock in the 50th minute with a clinical finish from inside the area.
The South Korean then turned provider for Richarlison, who doubled Tottenham's lead with a close-range header in the 69th minute.
Lucas Moura put the game beyond doubt in the 80th minute with a stunning solo effort, dribbling past several Ipswich defenders before firing into the bottom corner.
There was still time for one more goal, with Moura teeing up Ivan Perisic for a simple tap-in in the 88th minute.
The victory will come as a relief to Tottenham manager Antonio Conte, who had seen his team lose their last two Premier League matches.
Ipswich, who play in League One, gave a good account of themselves in the first half but were outclassed by Tottenham after the break.
The result means that Tottenham will host Sheffield United in the fifth round of the FA Cup on March 1.
