Special forces deployed after suspicious circumstances reported

Aalen - On Tuesday evening, there was a large police presence in the Aalener Walkstraße. According to the police, the SEK (Special Einsatzkommando) was deployed because of a suspicious situation in a residential building.

At around 6:30 p.m., the police received a report that a man was behaving strangely in the building. The man is said to have threatened other residents.

The police were unable to contact the man in the apartment, so the SEK was called in. The SEK officers then entered the apartment and took the man into custody. No one was injured during the operation.

The police are still investigating the exact circumstances of the incident. The man is said to have been under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
