Pre-Match Thoughts
Back in front of our home fans and what a match awaits us, Newcastle United (H). They will be fresh from a Carabao Cup final and will have taken confidence from their performance at Wembley.
Eddie Howe will be aiming to build on their good form in the league, pushing for a European place.
Team News
We're expected to have a fully fit squad ahead of the Newcastle game but for the Magpies, they will be without the suspended Bruno Guimaraes and Joe Willock. Both players have been key for them this season and their absence will be a boost for us.
Allan Saint-Maximin is a doubt due to a knock but is expected to be fit enough to play. Saint-Maximin is a dangerman so we will need to be aware of his threat.
Match Preview
We go into this match in good form, having won our last four matches in all competitions.
Newcastle United will be a tough test, but we have a good record against them at home. We have won our last three matches against them at the Emirates Stadium and we will be confident of getting a result.
The key to the match will be to stop Newcastle United's attack. They have scored plenty of goals this season and they have some dangerous players in their team.
We will need to be solid in defence and we will need to take our chances when we get them. If we can do that, we have a good chance of getting a positive result.
Predicted Lineup
Ramsdale; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Partey, Xhaka; Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli; Jesus
