Honduras manager addresses the 'reality' of an issue Luis Palma has at Celtic

Palma has not featured for the Hoops since suffering an injury against Ross County in December

Honduras manager Diego Vazquez has addressed the "reality" of an issue Luis Palma has at Celtic. The winger has not featured for the Hoops since suffering an injury against Ross County in December, and Vazquez has now admitted that the player is struggling to adapt to the demands of Scottish football.

Speaking to the media ahead of Honduras' friendly match against Guatemala, Vazquez said: "Luis is a good player, but he is still adapting to the reality of Scottish football. It is a very demanding league, and he is finding it difficult to adjust to the physicality and the pace of the game.

“I have spoken to him about this, and he is aware of the challenges he faces. He is working hard in training, and I am confident that he will overcome these difficulties and become a valuable asset for Celtic.”

Palma joined Celtic from Vida in January 2022, and he made a bright start to his career in Scotland, scoring twice in his first three appearances for the club. However, he has since struggled to find his best form, and he has been limited to just 11 appearances for the Hoops.

The 23-year-old is a talented player, and he has the potential to be a success at Celtic. However, he needs to adapt to the demands of Scottish football if he wants to fulfill his potential at the club.

Here are some of the challenges that Palma is likely to face at Celtic:

Vazquez has faith in Palma's ability to overcome these challenges, and he will be hoping that the winger can start to fulfill his potential at Celtic in the second half of the season.
