Hoeneß criticizes Bayern after draw with Gladbach: "Didn't show the efficiency of a top match"
Bayern Munich sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic has criticized his team's performance in the 1-1 draw with Borussia Monchengladbach on Saturday.
Salihamidzic said the team "didn't show the efficiency of a top match" and that they "need to do better in the future."
Bayern took the lead in the first half through Robert Lewandowski, but Gladbach equalized in the second half through Marcus Thuram.
Salihamidzic said the team "had a lot of chances" but "didn't take them." He also said the team "made too many mistakes" and that they "need to be more concentrated."
Bayern have now drawn their last two Bundesliga matches and are now four points behind leaders Borussia Dortmund.
Salihamidzic said the team "need to improve" and that they "need to start winning games again."
Bayern will face RB Leipzig in the DFB-Pokal next week before returning to Bundesliga action against Bayer Leverkusen.
