The German clubs suffered three defeats in the Champions League on Tuesday evening. Borussia Dortmund lost 2-1 at Manchester City, RB Leipzig lost 2-0 at Real Madrid and Eintracht Frankfurt lost 3-0 at Tottenham Hotspur.
Dortmund loses despite a good performance
Dortmund played a good game at Manchester City, but in the end they were unlucky to lose 2-1. The English champions took the lead in the 80th minute through Erling Haaland, and then Julian Alvarez made it 2-0 in the 84th minute. Dortmund got a consolation goal from Jamie Bynoe-Gittens in the 87th minute, but it was too little too late.
Leipzig outclassed by Real Madrid
RB Leipzig was outclassed by Real Madrid in the Santiago Bernabeu. The Spanish champions took the lead in the 25th minute through Vinicius Junior, and then Karim Benzema made it 2-0 in the 38th minute. Leipzig never really got into the game and was lucky not to lose by more.
Frankfurt has no chance at Tottenham
Eintracht Frankfurt had no chance against Tottenham Hotspur in London. The English club took the lead in the 14th minute through Son Heung-min, and then Harry Kane made it 2-0 in the 55th minute. Richarlison made it 3-0 in the 87th minute.
