Great disappointment among fans

The disappointment among the fans is great. Many had already planned to watch the game on TV on Sunday afternoon.

FC Schalke 04 is currently in 16th place in the table, just one point ahead of the relegation zone. Jahn Regensburg is in 17th place.

The game on Sunday is therefore a relegation battle. The loser could be relegated to the 2nd Bundesliga.

The fact that the game is not broadcast on TV is a major blow for the fans. Many will now have to listen to the game on the radio or follow it on the internet.
