36th Ybbsiade: Alfred Dorfer opens under new director

Kabarettfestival Ybbsiade with big names

With Alfred Dorfer, Lisa Eckhart, Thomas Maurer, Gery Seidl, Christoph & Lollo, Klaus Eckel, Omar Sarsam, Mike Supancic, Alex Kristan, Robert Palfrader and many more, the new artistic director Klemens Lendl has put together a first-class line-up for the Kabarettfestival Ybbsiade. Under the motto "Staunen - Staunen", the 36th Ybbsiade will take place from August 17th to 20th, 2023 in Ybbs an der Donau.

"We don't want to leave anyone cold"

The new artistic director Klemens Lendl is responsible for the program for the first time this year. He has already been able to convince some big names of the cabaret scene for the Ybbsiade. "With Alfred Dorfer, Thomas Maurer, Lisa Eckhart, Klaus Eckel, Christoph & Lollo and many more, we have been able to attract a real top-class cast," says Lendl. "Our aim is to offer something for every taste, from political cabaret to word acrobatics to physical comedy. We don't want to leave anyone cold.

The Kabarettfestival Ybbsiade has been taking place since 1988 and has developed into one of the most important cabaret festivals in Austria over the years. In addition to established stars, the festival also offers a platform for up-and-coming artists. The program is rounded off by workshops, exhibitions and side events.
